About Us

Our expertise lies in activewear, lingerie, swimwear, and dresses. We are located in the heart of the Garment District in New York City and specialize in pattern making, sample making, fitting, and production. We work with both emerging and established fashion designers and guide them through the development process, offering fast turnarounds at great rates.

Thanks to state-of-the-art-technology and a team of experts, E&C Fashion Design is able to create unique and intricate designs. Our facility includes: single needle, two needle, two step zig zag, three step zig zag, coverstitch, and overlock sewing machines.

About Us

What We Do

We have over 30 years of experience in apparel development and production. We create prototype garments that are manufacturing-ready and also possess the capabilities for small-to-medium size production runs. Our list of garment development services includes:

Pattern Making
Cut and Sew
Sample Making
Fitting
Small to Medium Size Production

Once our work is complete, we offer packaging and tags for finished garments.

We require:

A fashion sketch (front and back view) to guide our patternmakers
Fit model measurements
Reference garment to clarify your design objectives
Garment components and trimming (fabric, linings, zippers, elastics, special trims, buttons etc.)

We can refer you to local resources for all requirements, if needed.

What We Do

I’ve been working with the amazing team at E&C Fashion Design since I first launched Thorsun. I did all my original pattern samples there, and attribute a lot of success to the E&C team.

We were voted “best fitting beach short” by GQ our first year and got into retail stores like Bergdorf Goodman, Matches Fashion, Mr Porter and others.
